I've looked into the Rebecca sequel but it turns out that it doesn't really further the story, but just builds upon and fills in what happened within the first book. It might provide some new information (maybe some better hints as to where the love story goes? : ) ) but I was disappointed that it wasn't a proper sequel. Although I may read it when my curiosity finally compels me to. : ) That is really sweet of you to be so generous with your books, though. Pollyanna is another girl's book I missed out on in childhood that I'd like to read someday. I can see how you mistook the two! I've done that with them before. : ) Kelsey Bryanthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18398824033560242061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2930254604994263094.post-65730191314838745302014-03-31T10:51:24.619-07:002014-03-31T10:51:24.619-07:00oops! my mistake. It's called "New Chronicles of Rebecca." If you want, Kesley, I'd be happy to lend it to you! It's just sitting on my book shelf right now collecting dust. :-)Sonjahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18193859428736002081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2930254604994263094.post-16511772947037869732014-03-22T16:54:52.925-07:002014-03-22T16:54:52.925-07:00Aw! It certainly seems like a sequel was intended ... I like to think that they did marry. 17+- years is a large gap, but it's possible. (Think Colonel Brandon and Marianne from Sense and Sensibility, Emma and Mr. Knightley from Emma.) : ) Kelsey Bryanthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18398824033560242061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2930254604994263094.post-70376352419760421462014-03-21T14:40:49.042-07:002014-03-21T14:40:49.042-07:00Loved this book! I always wondered if she and Adam Ladd married? I wonder if a sequel was in mind that was never written.Alicia Willishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11850670601744580160noreply@blogger.com
