Update and Top Five Favorite Authors
It took a Homeschooled Authors Read-to-Win post to motivate me to revisit my own blog today!
First, my top five favorite authors:
Jane Austen
Elizabeth Goudge
L.M. Montgomery
Elizabeth Gaskell
Louisa May Alcott
These ladies inspire me with every word they wrote. Who are your top five favorite authors? Check out the Homeschooled Authors for some great choices!
Update: I’ve missed my blog, and I’ve missed keeping up with other people’s blogs. But that’s what comes with the busiest summer I’ve had in years. God has blessed me with many new experiences and fun and challenging opportunities! One day before too long I hope to share more about them.

Glad you're having an exciting summer -- hope the rest of it goes well! :) I miss your blog too of course, but that's what happens when life is more interesting than virtual life. ;) Which is not a bad thing...
ReplyDeleteI always love seeing people's top five favorite authors. :D Mine changes sometimes though... I'm not sure what my current top ones are... Tolkien, Diana Wynne Jones, Lloyd Alexander, probably Lewis... I have so many authors tying for fifth place though. :P
Haha, that's a good way to put it. Makes me feel better! When I get back to writing, I'll hopefully have loads of material to use. :)
DeleteI was surprised it was actually easy for me to pick my top 5! But I sympathize with your struggle to choose. I'm like that on most other things. Ooh, those are good choices. Tolkien and Lewis are in my top ten, but I have yet to really delve into Jones and Alexander. But I know I will enjoy them when I do!
Thanks for commenting!
Jane Austen, L.M Montgomery and Louisa May Alcott are my favorites!

Yay! It's so fun when you find other people who share your favorite authors. Have you ever read the other two ladies? You may like them as well!

ReplyDeleteThank you, Kate! I enjoy answering these kinds of questions. They're easy yet interesting!
